Unreal Tournament III Getting 'Major Expansion'
Epic Games' often outspoken VP Mark Rein killed two birds with one stone this week - the gaming exec went on the record with Eurogamer to dismiss rumors of a split with Midway and to announce a big expansion on the way for UT3:
"Midway is still very much the publisher of Unreal Tournament 3...""In fact, we're working together on a major expansion to Unreal Tournament 3, that we expect will excite and grow our UT3 customer base which, incidentally, now numbers over a million units sold-through world-wide."
Rein gave no more details, but we can expect to hear a great deal more about the Unreal expansion over the coming weeks and months.

I bought this on launch day, and am impressed by the physics, graphics and fancy pants everything.
However, it just doesn't feel quite right, there's either a load extra or something missing and I cannot decide which.
Still, assuming the expansion is free I will partake.
The biggest problem with UT3, at least on ps3 is that the game needs a Player expansion pack. By that, I mean...you know..people actually playing the dern thing. The game itself felt just like UT to me, even though there is a slight delay in aiming on the console version.
