Video: Dig Dug - Robot Chicken Style
I love the modern conveniences that we live with in these fantastic times. For instance my DVR (PVR, TiVo, or whatever you want to call it), many moons ago I set it to record any new episodes of Robot Chicken that happen on Cartoon Network. So for the past couple of weeks it's been recording the new season on Sundays and then during the week when I have free time I can sit down and watch the episode at my leisure, which is why I didn't see the clip above until last night. Leave it to Robot Chicken to come up with a semi-plausible way for Dig Dug to happen in real life. Not only did they do that, they added a heartfelt message of one man's love for another man (while inflating a fire breathing dragon thingy). Check it out.

I saw their Final Fantasy VII parody for the first time a few weeks ago and almost cried laughing... I couldn't believe what I was seeing. They had it spot on, all the way down to the PS1 synth music and the slightly rigid/glitchy character movements.
Hehe... it reminds me of that Zelda sketch they made a few months ago...
Oh and does that deserve a palme d'or! Poor bill
Apparently Adult Swim videos are only available to people in the United States... D: Sucks for me.
