Video: Linger In Shadows
As with most who've heard or seen anything about Linger in Shadows, I'm still unsure as to whether it's a game, a piece of interactive art, or an emergent technological deity awakened by the Cell processor from some kind of ages-old slumber. One thing I know for sure: it's pretty as heck.
Slated for release sometime this fall last Thursday, and guaranteed to have trophies, Linger in Shadows may or may not be worth your enthusiasm. We won't know until we get our hands on it.
If you're curious, and I know I am, make the jump to see a second video about a smoke monster and a flying puppy.

Already released here. Its pretty cool.
Short, and a little freaky at times... but cool.
I'm still trying to figure out how to get all the trophies for this interactive art.
It's already released - check out the store.
It's an odd one, that Linger in Shadows, but for $2.99 i found it pretty compelling. Got 6 trophies too without even knowing exactly how I did it.
And Tiny, get with the program! It was out last week!
This looks ab. solutely. ridiculous.
Indeed, it's already out and it rocks.
For the trophies you need to find each piece of campaign art. They are hidden and require you to scout the areas while paused and move the camera around. Rest are gotten from "beating" the "game".
Still, it's awesome and I highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed it, and I was happy to shell out $3 to support them and their efforts.
Buy it. Love it. Live it.
I'm a sucker for "Art" as "games"
i.e. anything by Team Ico.
So, they made a demo (see http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=50170 ) interactive and sell it? I don't get it...
By the way: You can watch the full demo at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDdStxjGELk
It's not a game, nor is it a tech demo for an upcoming game. This was made by members of the demoscene, which really got started on the Amiga. Demoscene programmers started by coming up with gee-whiz tricks to exploit the hardware and create interesting graphical effects.
Now apparently the focus has changed since 3D cards have taken off. I stopped paying attention to demo stuff after I got my first Pentium XD
AFAIK this is the first demo that's been released on a console.
