Video: Sonic Unleashed
I had all but given up on the blue hedgehog after Sonic and the Secret Rings on the Wii. Now with the release of his RPG on the DS and some entertaining footage of his latest adventure in Sonic Unleashed I think there may be home for him yet. The trailer is split between the speedy running levels and other areas where Sonic is focused on combat. I'm supporting the mix of gameplay as long as the actual levels are separate. There is nothing more frustrating than running at top speed with the wind in your quills, and then being force to halt and fight a few enemies are attempt poorly controlled platforming with no actual jump button. Here's hoping that Sonic Unleashed puts Sega's mascot back on top.

ohhh, this looks entertaining. If it's as good as the new Crash games I'll be in love with Sonic again.
I love Sonic and hate the fact that his past few games have been awful. Watching this reminds me of the awesome Sonic 2 commercials. Seeing Sonic scream through levels wondering how the heck I'm supposed to control him at those speeds. Hopefully the control will be good and it will bring back those glory days.
