Cult SRPGs Get Second Life, If You Act Now

Fans of nigh-impossible to find strategy RPG's are getting a second chance to pick up two critically acclaimed games, but you have to act fast. Online merchant Rosenqueen announced today that they will be getting a very limited shipment of Disgaea 2 and Makai Kingdom that they're willing to sell to all of us. When I say limited though, I mean limited. They're expecting a little over 100 copies of Disgaea 2 and 500 copies of Makai Kingdom. Here's some more info on each game from Rosenqueen's announcement:
Makai Kingdom was originally released in 2005. With lots of demand from our fans for a re-print, we've decided to reproduce this title. Don't miss this chance to get your hands on Nippon Ichi Software's crazy over-the-top humor SRPG!
Disgaea 2 was originally released in 2006. Now, you can preorder to own this game once again. If you've heard about Disgaea 2, but never played it. This is your chance to get it, play it, and love it!!
Having played through Disgaea 3 recently and really liking it I'm thinking of trying to snag a copy of Disgaea 2 for my collection. This brings up an interesting point. Often times smaller, less popular games go out of print and gamers late to the party are left with very few options. I think this puts a mark in the "used games are good" column, though the idea of reprinting games is one way for companies to put a dent in the used game market.
Are there any games out there you wish were given a second chance on the shelves?
To preorder the games which are set to release in early December head on over to Rosenqueen and check out some of their other nifty merchandise.

Klonoa 2. One of the reasons I bought a PS2, and I still dream of a third game for the PS3.
Never got a chance to play Shining Force III... of course I never had a Saturn either.
I think I've said it before, but I'll say it again...Everytime you guys mention a sale, I end up buying things.
...You need to stop it =P I have an incredibly low Will Save vs. Impulse Shopping...=|
If you've played Disgaea 3 already, I shouldn't bother with Disgaea 2. It's great, but sort of the same (bu not quite as good).
Makai Kingdom on the other hand is completly worth it! It's in the same vein but with vehicles and no grid. Freaking awesome!
I must say that I appreciate the fact that they're offering these titles as reasonable prices rather than taking advantage of the situation to charge some ridiculous rate. I may pick up Makai and see what's up.
picked up disgaea 2! i've never beaten the first one, or actually any of nippon ichi's games, but for some reason i feel the need to own them all... i didn't even know disgaea 2 was out of print, but when you guys mentioned they were only printing about 100 copies, that pretty much sealed the deal for me...
Giftpia, but I don't think you can reprint something that didn't get a first print o_o
This reminds me that I need to pick up a copy of Disgaea 2 - the original Disgaea is such an amazing game. I think I haven't picked up the sequel yet because I know it's going to eat up so much of my time. In any case, I'm fairly certain there's no shortage of copies here in Europe.
Makai Kingdom is good fun but it pales in comparision to the original Disgaea, and was sort of disappointing for that reason.
Add to that the re-issue of Persona 2!! In celebration for the upcoming release of Persona 4 - available NOW in limited quantities at amazon.com... remember to use the gaygamer link to amazon :)
oh, Makai Kingdom!! I think this is my favorite NIS title besides the first Disgaea. no matter how they have improved the Disgaea formula, the first had the most amusing story of the lot. Makai has a lot of really good humor, a solid engine refined from the rather blah Phantom Brave, and tons of replayability. good times indeed.
