Fable II Premium DLC Revealed: Knothole Island
It's clear that Fable II is a title that is well on it's way to being one of the top, if not the top title for 2008. It is quickly reinventing itself, expanding on an already impressive title. Hoping it will never end? While that is a bit of a pipe dream players will be able to delay the inevitable just a little longer with this recently announced premium DLC for the Xbox 360 exclusive.
Knothole Island is a mystical place, far secluded from the mainland of Fable. Unhappy with the constant Balverine attacks and damp, dreary weather a tribe relocated to this mysterious place with full control over their own environment. This is just a taste of what is to come:
- Embark on 3 unique quests set in 3 unique dungeons.
- Unravel the mystical secrets of the resurrection shrine.
- Try on a whole new range of outfits and look like an armoured knight, an assassin, a barbarian or a leather-clad biker, among many others.
- Brandish 6 new weapons.
- Dozens of unique potions that will drastically alter your appearance.
- Customise your weapons the way you want with the new augment tool and a whole new array of augments.
- +50 additional leaderboards.
It is always nice to see developers expanding on their existing software, especially when it comes to RPGs in general. Considering the scale of the expansion, it sounds as though it will be worth every cent they charge, even without knowing the price.

Everything is better with submarines. And new clothes too? It's like an early Christmas present!
Oh, and the press release on Lionhead's site says it'll run 800 points.
So what about it makes it premium rather than say regular DLC?
I'm hoping this is cheap considering there's only 3 additional quests and whatever the shrine may hold... I have a hunch what that might be but not going to spoil it here.
I personally do not care for clothing, weapons, augments, appearances or leaderboards so I hope the price is cheap or the quests substantial.
I can't wait for this I'm loving the hell out of this game,any release date for new content ????
