Fantastic Flash: Loops of Zen

Holidays are coming up, and for most of us that means spending time with loved ones and/or family. We also know that means that stress levels and anxiety attacks will soon be on the rise for most of us too. Luckily, there are ways for us to combat the stress and woes of the holiday season. The most common one, with Black Friday coming up, is to go out there and do some therapeutic shopping. Only problem with that one is that while it makes you feel good now, the stress often comes back one to two months later when you get your credit card bill in the mail.
I offer a different solution: games. Don't worry, I'm not talking about the $60 games that I'm sure many of you have on your wish list for the season; I'm talking about a nice simple (and free) flash game. (Enter Loops of Zen, stage left) That's right, Loops of Zen, a simplistic and deceptively easy puzzle game in which you rotate pieces of track in a puzzle to rearrange all the pieces until there are no loose ends, only loops, loops, and more loops. I've actually been playing this one at home for the past week when done at the office and I have to admit that the simplicity of the game really is a zen experience often causing me to relax and only explore the puzzle possibilities that will lead me to pure enlightenment (or at least the next level). There are well over 51 levels to play, but it'll stop counting them once you get past 50, or at least it did with me.
So if you need something more than turkey's tryptophan to make you relax in the next couple of weeks, just pull up a chair to Loops of Zen and I'm sure you'll be in a trance for at least thirty minutes or so, if not a couple of hours.
