Gothic 3 Expansion So Bad Developer Apologizes

Here's something you don't read about every day: Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods publisher JoWooD has publicly apologized for making an "unsatisfying game." In fact, JoWooD goes so far as to say that both Forsaken Gods and the original Gothic 3 are "full of bugs." Now, for my money that sentiment could have been applied to the first two Gothics as well, but better late than never:
Gothic 3 : Forsaken Gods is full of bugs, just as the main game was. Fans are complaining about the poor quality of the game and JoWooD felt that it's time to release a statement in this regard.First of all we want to thank the community for showing their support and we also want to thank those who have chosen to buy the game. Unfortunatey, it wasn't possible for us to release a game that could fully satisfy you, for different reasons.
The game was released this year because that was what we and the community desired. JoWooD and Trine have worked under a lot of pressure, and to repair some of the mistakes we released the game with a patch, hoping to make it better.
Michael Kairat, Executive Producer of JoWooD said: We are now getting the full "bill" from the community for our mistakes.
JoWooD Productions would like to present their apologies to the fans for releasing an unsatisfying game.
Ouch. Kairat goes on to say that the JoWooD team will not repeat their mistakes in Gothic 4 (AKA Arcania: A Gothic Tale). For whatever it's worth, Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods was developed by Trine Game Studios, located in Mumbai, India - a city that's been in the news this week for much more horrifying reasons.

BULL ... if you really feel bad then offer refunds for that piece of crap. They did this as a PR attempt to recover a little. They admit they knew it was full of bugs and the original was and yet it took them until now to apologize. I will not buy a JoWood game again... bit torrent for their games from now on. That will teach them to do this stuff. shame on them.
The series went downhill with the third part.
They should have called back the game and offered the buyers a refund.
And now they're blaming the community, supposedly the fans desired a release this year. That's just nonsense, they desired a great bug-free game, but the shareholders wanted a release before christmas.
Every Gothic game I've played has been bogged down by show-stopping bugs. Gothic 3 threw in ridiculously bad design flaws to boot, so I officially lost interest in the series at that point.
