NaviFairy Announces That Lionhead Announced Upcoming Fable 2 Announcement
Hooray for hype building! On a Fable 2 development blog Lionhead made the cryptic announcement that next week there would be a big announcement for Fable 2. What this big announcement next week will be about, and why they don't just announce it now, are both still mysteries at this point. Seriously, why go through the trouble of saying that you'll announce something next week and not just announce it now? In that extra week all we are going to do is speculate on what the announcement could be, and then we'll have raised expectations that the actual announcement could never live up to.
Speaking of speculation, here we go. Personally, being not much of a dog person, I'd like there to be an update for other animals to be your pet, maybe a falcon? But I know that will never happen so I'd still be happy if I could at least change the breed of my dog. But on the more realistic realm of speculation the big announcement could be a way to bring your custom character into co-op play to appease fan demand. Although that too seems a little far fetched because it just seems too soon for Lionhead to have figured out a fix for that. So I'm going to put my money down on some new dungeons and items made available through downloadable content. Maybe making the collector's edition content a free download for everybody since they had problems getting it to the right people in the first place? Put on your own speculation hats and let's see if we can figure out this riddle.

Here's the announcement (for the announcement) itself:
"Normally, we don't like to tease too much. You know, all this hype being generated by teasing the announcement that there will be an announcement in X-number of days. Who cares? But in this day and age where a gazillion titles are asking for your attention, I felt it might be the right thing to do on the blog. We've got some G o o d [Good] news for all Fable II fans next week, dare I even say it's quite a big announcement? Yes of course I dare say it's a big announcement regarding Fable II, next week!"
I winced when I read it. "Who cares" indeed.

Maybe this will be the big announcement that Molyneux promised us. Remember? He was going on about a feature that he'd "never seen before in any other game", but then he stopped mentioning it past a comment that it would probably be announced after launch. I really hope it is; it could get public opinion back on Lionhead's side after all those glitches and bugs.
the hot guy at EB told me that part of that announcement, people who bought the collectors edition can download the soundtrack for free, since we were supposed to get it anyways remember?
But thats just part of it, not the whole announcement...
