New Releases For The Week Of 11/10/08

Welcome my friends to the second week of November. I've taken time away from my busy schedule of gaming and Christmas shopping to point out some fine games to be on the lookout this week. First on my list is Mirror's Edge which takes the go anywhere genre to new heights (literally) with first-person parkour fun set against the backdrop of a big-brother monitored society. Call of Duty: World at War heads back to World War II, because I guess there are still untold stories, I'll just pick up Band of Brothers on blu-ray for my war fix. While I didn't quite make level 70 in World of Warcraft, millions of you have and will be picking up Wrath of the Lich King this week. Long live the Deathknights! Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts hits the 360, and while it might not be the Banjo Threeie we were hoping far, early reviews are positive for Rare's latest release. Finally, Star Wars hits both Nintendo consoles with the Wii version finally giving players lightsaber control. I wish they set it during the original trilogy, but I promise not to complain. So what are you guys picking up or putting on your holiday gift list?
