New Releases For The Week Of 11/17/08

animalcrossingcity.jpg

Week's like these I hate being in charge of the new release list. It is a constant reminder that I only have two kidneys to sell in order to afford all the games I want. As I type this (on Sunday) I have already picked up Animal Crossing: City Folk as well as Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. The former being exactly like it's predecessors but has still won me over with charm and a need to pay off Tom Nook before he breaks my legs. As for the latest in Midway's fighting franchise, I've already played through one of the story modes and fans of the series will have plenty to love. Also on my radar this week is Lara Croft's return in Tomb Raider Underworld as well as a Japanese RPG in the form of Last Remnant. I'm still hoping for a must have JRPG this generation, but this will do for now. While this fighter might be destined for harsh criticism, I for one am looking forward to Castlevania Judgement. Give those people points for pumping a fighter full of fan favorites. Zombie hunters are going online this week with Left 4 Dead and those less bloodthirsty type will be hitting the mountain with Shaun White's Snowboarding.
