Blue Castle Making Dead Rising 2?
This rumor from last year has been officially upgraded to "secretly confirmed, sorta." During a "secret mission in Vancouver," Eurogamer found out that Capcom has indeed recruited Canadian developer Blue Castle Games to design the sequel to Dead Rising.
While no details were given, the source who confirmed the project added:
"Everyone's really excited; the team has obviously seen the rumours and it's been hard to keep quiet, but they can't wait to show off the game."
Blue Castle has worked on two 2K baseball titles, The Bigs and MLB Front Office Manager, which was announced a short while ago. But the company's website mentions adds a third game:
"We are well underway on three new projects - an unannounced Action title and two Sports titles one of which was just announced."
Capcom had no comment, but I wouldn't be surprised to see tens of thousands of zombies crawl across your TV screen sometime in 2009.

Oh oh...
I just hope they don't port it to the Wii this time.
Most Nintendo fans have already given up on the first port!
I always worry when a sequel is handled by a different team than the original. Hopefully it'll be as good as the first game, though.
