Silent Hill: Homecoming Now On Steam

Attention survival-horror-starved PC gamers! Silent Hill: Homecoming is now available for purchase and download over the Steam platform. Not only is this a boon for my fellow PC gamers, but for the first five days you'll get a 10% discount on your Silent Hill: Homecoming purchase at SteamPowered.com.
That clock started ticking at 10am PST today, when Silent Hill: Homecoming went live on Steam, so if you're interested in the discount you've got until Monday to buy the game for $44.99 - thereafter the price will be $49.99.
I'm downloading my copy as I type - the only downside seems to be that the PC version isn't Live enabled. More Live-enabled PC games, please!

Personally I'm just fine without Live on my PC games. I made the mistake of starting a game of Fallout 3 without signing into Live first. I played for an entire day, then decided to give Live a try. Once I logged into my Live account, my save games vanished. I have to log out of Live to continue my progress! Now the game connects to Live automatically on start and I have to manually disconnect every time I play. As far as I can tell there's nowhere to STOP it from auto logging in every time now. Grr..
