Video: 'Bike Hero' Vid Revealed As Marketing Trick, Still Freaking Awesome

Fictional YouTube user "Madflux" has been all the rage with his recent "Bike Hero" video, which as you can see here shows Madflux "playing" the Living End's "Prisoner of Society" - only instead of a screen and a game system, Madflux uses a neighborhood street; instead of a guitar, a bicycle.

It's been revealed that (surprise) "Bike Hero" is the work of ad agency Droga5 on behalf of their client, Activision, and Guitar Hero World Tour.

I don't expect many people to be terribly surprised that this awesome vid is professional, but for my $0.02 that makes it no less awesome. Right?

Honestly, This kind of kills it for me. I would have been perfectly fine believing that these were a bunch of amateurs having a good time.
