What Are You Playing This Weekend?

510.jpg

This weekend I am in the chilly town of Baltimore, MD visiting my folks for Thanksgiving next Thursday. I opened my suitcases to discover my true nerd shame: I packed my PS3 and 360, a ton of games all the cords and controllers and hardly any clothes. Although I'm going to be spending most of the time sitting around playing video games so who needs room for extra clothes? Amongst my packed games are things I desperately need to catch up on and a week at home is the perfect time to do it! So, this weekend (and all week for that matter) I'll be trying my hand at Gears of War 2, more Dead Space, more Fallout 3, Castlevania Judgement, Left 4 Dead, Lego Batman, Silent Hill Homecoming and Fable II. Whew! And since my parent have the Wii I bought them a couple years back, I'll be introducing them to the wonderful world of Boom Blox.

That concludes my gargantuan list of vacation week titles, so what are you playing this weekend?

I'm willing to bet i'm the only one, but it's Lips for me.

Got it today (released in the UK today) and its a fantastic game, they way it automatically imports all your music from your computer (thats DRM free) for playback is just fantastic. They're all just there for you to sing along too - okay, you don't get lyrics, but the pitch and vowel detection works perfectly, you have to sing the right lyrics at the right pitches on all your own music too.

Really love it :)

I will be grinding away in WoW hoping to hit 70 by christmas, (The only way I could at this point is if I quit my job and abandon my friends) and playing a little smash brother brawl to get into fighting form for the annual thanksgiving throwdown with my cousins. I will not be demolished again!

Left 4 Dead!

That's what made me get the 360. It's become my obsession...

But I might get my hands on Soul Caliber IV.

Remember it's XBox Live Play and Win Weekend!

Since I just got Rock Band 2, I'm going to spend the weekend...rocking.
And when I tire of that, pwn some noobs on Team Fortress 2, as is my wont and which I never tire of.

I'd get L4D but my laptop can't handle it and I'm not wasting my time with a console version of a FPS ever again, so that will have to wait for my new PC to get built.
