A Next Metal Gear Is...

Welcome to the internet, where one image can drive countless gamers into a frenzy. The image in question is found on a new Konami website and lovingly posted here by yours truly. Now we just have to wonder, what does it mean? I've read speculation that it means a new Metal Gear game will hit the Wii, the 360, perhaps it'll be beamed directly into our brains. Maybe the "i" means us, and the "!" means alert and the final symbol is power. I'm thinking MMO here. We have the power to become alert, or to be alert. I don't know, but I'm sticking with an MMO set in the world of MGS 4. How cool would that be, travel the world with your own PMC, complete with a gloab spanning narrative told by the players within. That's my theory, anyone have a different one?

I think the "i" more commonly refers to either the Internet, or Apple. Therefore, the game is either going to heavily use the Internet, or be playable on iMacs.
[/stupid theories based on horrendously abstract symbols]
They're porting MGS4 to the 360.
The green glowing power symbol does make me first think of the Xbox 360, while the i makes me think iPhone. But the iPhone doesn't have that power symbol on it, so that theory is a dead end.
Interesting thing I noticed, the URL for the site has the letters MGST, which instantly made me think Metal Gear Solid Tactics. If that's the case, and they take out the random card element from Metal Gear Acid, then I'm very excited.
I predict something from the Ac!d series on either iPhone or DSi, but I pray for a Wii announcement if only to see the streets flood with bitter fanboy tears.
Dueling Analogs had a nice spoof of this today: http://www.duelinganalogs.com/comic/2008/12/05/a-xbox-360-is/
I think it's for the 360. It's gotta be that's the power button for the 360 after all
i and ! look both like part of the Wii-Logo, the circel however seems more like 360... intresting
To the people saying 360:
You do realise the Wii has the exact same symbol on its power button, right?
Yes, but does it glow green?
...clearly it will be entirely in Spanish. ¡Olé!
The lower case character 'i' existed way before Apple started using it on their products. So I seriously doubt it. For the most part on 'gadgets' at least it means interactive or internet.
I don't play any MG games, but I know that the ! is a symbol used in many stealth games to point out to the player when you might be or you have been spotted.
So maybe soon you will spot the next MG in a PC. Gateway, Compaq and HP used that symbol a couple of year backs in many of their PC ads. However it always comes to the 360 before the PC.
As a Nintendo fanboy I would love it on the Wii, but obviously it wouldn't be a Metal Gear 4.
Anyways this is both exciting and annoying, I want to know what it means.
Considering how there were Mac, I-Pod, PSP, PS3, and Blu-Ray references in MGS4, I highly doubt this has anything to do with a game on the 360.
Granted, all of the above could be changed quickly in a port, but Kojima has been/was pretty anti-360 and said many times that he was against a port on the 360.
But we all know how money talks...
My guess is that it's a new Ac!d game or even a new Portable Ops...
