Burnout Paradise DLC: Welcome To Surf Island
I've touted my love for Burnout Paradise in the past because, quite frankly, this is the only racing game that has held my interest this long. I find myself just cruising around Paradise City enjoying the beautiful world Criterion Games has created. Added to that is the massive amount of free downloadable content that has become available since the game's release. Well, after being spoiled for almost a year, Criterion is releasing the first premium content, an entirely new environment to explore, race around in, and perform obscenely awesome tricks. The content will be Surf Island, and will cost gamers an unspecified amount of money. According to Criterion:
Big Surf is the culmination of everything we learned creating Paradise City, and we want it to bring you a truly spectacular new experience - the highlight of a year of incredible premium content. Burnout already delivers incredible value for money - literally hundreds of hours of gameplay with your original disk or PSN purchase, plus more with the free Cagney Pack and free Burnout Paradise Bikes. We get it, quit it with the guilt trip! How much are you willing to pay for this? I'm setting my limit at fifteen bucks, maybe twenty if it ends up being uber nifty...or brings more trophies.

I appreciate the DLC... as well as the direction they tried to take the series with this game. That said, they made some good changes but shot themselves in the foot in other areas (crash mode, dj, etc - basically taking a chunk of the arcade feel out of the game which helped define the games to start)
I don't think I'd pay much for the content considering I lost interest in the game pretty quick, if anything at all. The free bikes content I still haven't tried (but I do have it downloaded).
They added trophiies for their bike pack, They would completely suck to not do it for the island. BUT, consider this, they were analysing all the spots people seemed to like to hang out in paradise city. They correspond to all the spots they make you go to complete the challenges. I thought that was kind of lame analysis
