Deal: Xbox 360 Rock Band 2 Special Edition - $109 Plus Free Gift Card At Toys R Us
If you've been waiting to jump into Rock Band 2 but needed a little push, Toys R Us is offering a pretty great deal on the Special Edition this week only. The full set -- including game, guitar, microphone, and drums -- usually retails for $189, but Toys R Us is offering the whole package for $109, plus they're throwing in a $25 gift card you can use on a later purchase.
The deal is good in-store only, and it looks like only the Xbox 360 version is part of the sale. Toys R Us isn't known for having a lot of stock on their big bargains: the last time I posted about a deal there, it seems a number of stores had already sold out. I'd suggest calling ahead and make sure they've got it in stock before heading out, just to avoid disappointment.

Oh man, the best game I own. I assure you, fellow gamers who love rhythm games, you won't be disappointed! I worked three weeks last summer to afford the first one and it sure didn't let me down. Neither did the sequel.
So buy it if you love rhythm games and have the money!
I just wanted to let folks know that I just got back from Toys R Us and I picked up the PS3 Version and got this deal, so it's good for both 360 and PS3. I would call ahead to your local store and double check though.
Yes, I picked up the PS3 version today as well for this deal. There were plenty left of both PS3 and Xbox360, but this was also the Times Square store in NYC. I believe it ends today or until supplies last, I assume whichever comes first.
I called about four different stores and found one with the 360 version in stock and I went and picked it up! Sweet deal.
