Don't Forget To Vote In The GayGamer.net 2008 Reader's Choice Awards!

The votes are still pouring in for the GayGamer.net Reader's Choice Awards. The vote will be up until the end of this weekend with the results being posted next Monday just in time for the New Year! If you haven't already done so, please be sure to head over to the special voting page and register your votes for the best games of 2008. Now I have noticed that some people have just voted on the Game of the Year and not on anything else, so make sure you vote in all the categories. There's eighteen in all. It only takes a couple of minutes so make sure to get out there and let your vote be counted!

Hmmm... No Left 4 Dead game of the year option? Giant Bomb gave it up for multiplayer zombies. No Call of Duty for best shooter? Granted, I would vote for Gears anyway, but it seems like CoD deserves a mention. Rock Band 2 for best music game, but not best soundtrack?
I think write-ins should be allowed on these polls. :/
Write in vote: Left 4 Dead Game of the Year and Best Xbox 360.
Have you played CoD: WaW, Andrew? It doesn't even deserve an honorable mention.
The Game of The Year seemed really limited though. I guess that reveals a certain level of necessary mediocrity in a user poll. This becomes a popularity contest rather than an indication of what is truly the best game of 2008.
For me that would be a toss up between Endwar or Battlefield: Bad Company, both of which brought console gaming leaps and bounds in new directions for genres that traditionally did not sit well on consoles.
