Fantastic Flash: Left 4k Dead

If you are anything like me (in which case you have my deepest condolences) you have a fascination with zombies bordering on obsession and have been playing Left 4 Dead almost non-stop. I've even bought the game for both the PC and Xbox 360 since I have friends that want to play on both. Well, now thanks to programmer Markus Perrson and his latest entry into the Java 4k competition we can play a micro-sized version of zombie chaos called Left 4k Dead.
What's most impressive is that the game fits into only 4kb of memory. That's an obscenely small file size, especially for a game this fun and addictive. Sure, it only has one survivor instead of four, but when you're running away from 30 or so zombies it doesn't really matter. This 4kb java game really perfectly captures the intensity of the more graphically intensive 3D versions.
Oh, and check out the other 4kb java games from the competition if you've got the free time. They are all spectacular.
