Indie Games: Showcase Best Of 2008
While I realize it is a bit lazy to not pick my own top 20 for the year of 2008, I must say I wholly agree with Indie Games' choice for 2008 best indie produced action arcade titles. In fact, they have gone beyond what I would have been able to, having chosen several games that I have not even heard of:

- Rescue: The Beagles
- Aether
- Calamity Annie
- Destructivator
- Thrustburst
- You Found the Grappling Hook
- You Have to Burn the Rope
- ROM Check Fail
- Samurai Railroad Mansion
- Virtual Silence
- Cubes
- Facewound
- Pro Killer Man
- Skullpogo
- Night of the Cephalopods
- Karateka Mania
- Devil Ronin
- Ropor
- I Was in the War
Lets face it, they did a very good job and digging through the pile of, lets face it, excellent independent titles released this year. I'd almost even consider this one of the greatest years for indie developers to date. Be sure to check out their full list of picks for 2008 at:
