Lets Play Dress Up With Prince Of Persia

beyond prince of persia.bmp

Prince of Persia was already a game fairly high on my "must have" list, but the recent announcements for alternate costumes have only made me more excited. In addition to the Sands of Time outfit for the Prince you'll also be able to dress him up as Altair from Assassin's Creed by setting up an Ubisoft.com account and linking it to your game. I wasn't a huge fan of Assassin's Creed, but I am a fan of good character design, and Altair has it in spades.

The newest costume addition though, it's something special. In addition to being able to dress up Elika as Farrah from Sands of Time, Destructoid has revealed that once you beat the game you unlock her Jade costume from Beyond Good & Evil. It's even complete with bo staff and hip pouch, although it's purely a cosmetic change since she'll never actually use them to fight.

According to Destructoid there are still two costume slots left to unlock for both the Prince and Elika. What could their remaining costumes be? Given that the costumes seem to be pulled from past Ubisoft games some likely possibilities include characters from Tenchu, Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes, or Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell. Personally, I'm going to be holding out hope for the rabbids to make an appearance.
