LittleBigChanges: Versions 1.06 and 1.07 Release Back To Back
It has been quite a... day or so for Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet. Not only did 1.06 get released, 1.07 was released not but a wink after! Quite the busy bees those developers have been. The patches themselves each add their own unique and important feature to the little meta platformer.
1.06:
Level moderation has been vastly improved. Worried about your level getting moderated and not knowing why? Don't want that level to just disappear into the ether, leaving you cold and alone with hours of work in the crapper? Worry no longer! 1.06 adds simply "depublishes" the levels now, providing you a moderation notice with an included reason. This not only stops the level from being irreparably destroyed, it gives the author a chance to fix their level!
1.07:
In game store. That's right, the game lets you purchase costumes without going to the Playstation store. Something that makes me extremely happy. Why? Because finding things released more than a week prior is nearly impossible. There is no "additional content" category for LittleBigPlanet for some reason. It is dumb. It also automagically carts you some free Christmas goodies. Happy holidays from Sony!
So, go ahead and patch your game. The new features are worth the delay.
