Microsoft Targets Hispanics For Entertainment Holiday Gifts

Microsoft has trended the data (with help from the data-trenders at Ipsos) and found that Hispanics are "more concerned than the general population" regarding the holidays and home entertainment spending: 89% of Hispanics would rather have a holiday gift that "brings their family together." Just 64% of the general population felt the same way. They've also found that 95% of Hispanics would rather see a gift "that people can enjoy throughout the year" compared with just 81% of the general population.
Even more telling is this figure: while only 52% of the general public would rather have one gift for the whole family than multiple individual gifts - amongst Hispanics that number jumps to an amazing 83%. Moreover, half of all Hispanic adults say they will "probably" play video games with friends or family this holiday season.
The news should give Microsoft a bit of breathing room, since they're poised to strike it big with the new sub-$200 Arcade SKU. As long as the surveys match the receipts, that is.
Meanwhile I'm left wondering what the gay numbers might be... any thoughts?
Microsoft: Hispanics More Interested In Home Entertainment Holiday Gifts [Gamasutra]

i know this gay hispanic wants
he wants a ps3
Well I always tell my bf that if he doesn't know what to get me he can get me a cheap game or book that I may like.
I would rather get a new PC or put the money down for a new PC instead of an Xbox. Don't the Xbox games come to the PC eventually anyways? Well not to say that I would turn down an Elite or anything ;).
Merry Christmas! :)
Well this gay hispanic has a Xbox 360 and couldn't be any happier.
