Playstation Home: It's Ok To Say Gay!

Well this is some news that certainly brightened my day. I ran a little experiment in PlayStation Home today and discovered that "gay" is no longer a censored word for conversation. I was gaying it up one side and down the other and while it elicited a lot of stares and curses from the surrounding crowd, it was wonderful to fun through the central plaza screaming "I am gay!" at the top of my virtual lungs.
Interestingly the filter still seems to apply to bulletins and Club names. I tried leaving a bulletin up in the G@yG@amer C@stle club board with the word "gay" and it told me my message contained disallowed words. Seems a little strange, but apparently this is the case. Hopefully this issue will be resolved and we will all be free to be you and me... and gay.
Congratulations, Sony. You have made a huge step here for the game industry and we love you for it. Keep it coming.

I noticed that too. Its nice to see that our voices were heard
while this does nothing to make Home a less homophobic environment where the worst of Xbox Live seems to currently be hanging out, at least we have corporate acceptance.
There are other GAY people on HOME BETA?
That damn plaza is so STR*!

Probably an oversight on Sony's part. They'll censor it again in a patch ;)

Is there a virtual meeting place yet inside home for all of us gay gamers out there? If not, how bout in the mall at the top of the stairs around the corner to the left... right across from the empty store front. Lets see if we can spread the word and make it easier to find each other...
Good Idea tide! There are the clubs as well, like Retro...
