Resident Evil 5 Exclusives Revealed

Do you know where you're going to be on March 13, 2009? Perhaps you'll be picking up a copy of Capcom's hotly-anticipated Resident Evil 5? In that case, do you know which version you're going to be buying? Because there's some extra content, but it varies depending on which console you own. If you've got only one, then your choice is pretty much made for you, but what if you've got both?
Well, the Xbox 360 version will have a special limited edition that will include a soundtrack CD and special metal case. Standard edition will presumably just be the game.
The PlayStation 3 version on the other hand, will contain a special making-of feature, which, since it's supposed to be pressed into the same Blu-ray disc, should still be featured on the standard edition.
So do special features persuade you to go one way over the other? I've only got a 360, so my choice is made for me, but I'm not likely to opt for the special edition. I tend not to, unless there's a really awesome piece of swag to tempt me. And a soundtrack CD probably won't do it.

if there is a mandatory PS3 install, then I will get the 360 version. (though I dunno if it is worth shelling out for a CE)
if there isn't an install, I may still get the 360 version anyways. at that point, it becomes a question of controls and if there are any major game differences.
Why are people still bitching about installs? I guess I just don't get it having a background in PC gaming. I've got a 7200RPM in my PS3 and like games that install because that means the games will load that much faster.
I'm getting the PS3 version, if the standard has the Making Of as suggested by Wootini. Makings Of are always very interesting. Even that balls-out-nuts Behind the Scenes for *The Last Guy.
I'm probably getting the PS3 version since more of my friends have PS3s than 360s and I want to get in some online co-op with them.
why are installs a problem? because if I don't want to sit for 20 minutes while the game installs to my PS3 to get load times comparable to a 360 running off the bloody DVD, I find that to be a problem. I buy consoles because they offer a certain convenience. (or at least, they used to.) if I WANT to do the whole install and run, I have a solid rig that I can do that on. if I want a system where I put the game in, and it works out of the box, that's what my consoles (should) be for.
All i know is, if Ada and Jill don't make an appearance i'll be ready to cut someone :=)
I think it's about time I caved in and bought a 360. The wii has given me two good years of gaming but it's all slim pickings from here on out until the next piece of Miyamoto magic.
Sure I could probably check out The Conduit and Okami but 360's are seriously cheap right now and I could pick up Half Life 2, Gears of War 2, the new Prince of Persia and Resident Evil 5 and see how the other half lives.
since i don't have my 360 connected online and can't see that changing in the near future (pay? to play? no thanks!) PS3 version all the way.
despite my ADHD, installs don't bother me either, plus i've become a Trophy-whore *sigh*
Unless either version gets some actual serious exclusive content, I'll probably go with the 360 version as I only really use my PS3 for exclusives.
And at that I'll get the regular version as I find that you often miss out on good cover art with those steelboxes.
