The Hits Keep On Comin' For Lips

If I don't find Lips under the tree next week, I'm going to be really cranky. Mostly because it means I'm going to have to go out and buy it myself, which means dealing with post-holiday shoppers looking for sales or returning crap gifts. Because now that I've psyched myself up for the game, I can't wait to sing my little heart out (off-key, naturally). Especially with the DLC that Microsoft keeps announcing. In addition to the Jason Mraz and Kylie Minogue that are already on my list, I now find I must add some more. This could get expensive!
Available December 19:
"Over My Head (Cable Car)" by The Fray
"Every Little Step" by Bobby Brown
"Prisoner of Society" by The Living End
"Virtual Insanity" by Jamiroquai
My eye went to "Virtual Insanity" first, because that's a cool tune, but honestly, I'm more excited to cheese it up with that Bobby Brown jam. Awesome!
Available December 26:
"New Shoes" by Paolo Nutini
"What's Love Got To Do With It" by Tina Turner
"What Is Love?" by Haddaway
Love me some Tina, but seriously, "New Shoes" was the iTunes free single a while back and it was so freakishly catchy I ended up buying his entire album!
Available January 2:
"Where Did Our Love Go" by The Supremes
"Let's Groove" by Earth, Wind and Fire
"Be Good Johnny" by Men at Work
"Somethin' Stupid" by Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman
This is probably the best week. You can diva it up with Diana Ross and the girls, get down with Earth Wind and Fire, or relive the '80s heyday of Aussie pop rock. Heck, even the duet would be fun, if I didn't already know my bf would force me to since Nicole's part!
Available January 9:
"Superstar" by Jamelia
"People Are People" by Depeche Mode
"Suddenly I See" by KT Tunstall
Yeah, not so much. "Suddenly I See" has been so overplayed I've lost all interest, and I don't know the Jamelia track. But I will happily add Depeche Mode to my '80s playlist!
Songs will be available from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace or the Lips in-game store for 160 Microsoft points each.

I have avoided buying Lips since I have put some time (and money) into Singstar.
Once I saw that "People are People" will soon be available on January 9th, I am starting to re-think my situation.
Maybe it's not too late to ask for it this Christmas..
I'd get it if the guy in the photo came with it. *drools*
