Video: PSP Remote Play Made Easy
The inter-connectivity between the PS3 and PSP is probably one of the media features of the Sony systems that actually holds my interest from time to time; however, like with any hi-tech media features on devices today, it can sometimes require an advanced degree in electrical engineering just to know how to get the option to function, let alone turn on when you want it. Well, apparently the folks over at Sony have decided to start releasing some "how to" videos during the holiday season to help users learn to use some of the more advance features of their products.
The one featured in the video above is a walkthrough of hooking up your PSP to do Remote Play from your PS3 over your Local Area Network (LAN). Clocking in at one minute and thirty-eight seconds, the video is fairly short and concise in its description of how to get the PSP to remote play videos and other media from your PS3. Being as short as it is, the video doesn't explain some of the more complex concepts and nuances, such as how to do remote play over the internet; nevertheless, it is helpful to those that want to get a little more out of the hundreds of dollars they have invested in the two systems. Look for a slew of more videos like this one going up on the blog.us.playstation.com site in the next few days.
