Videos: Infamous Interview And Gameplay

Courtesy of IGN, we've got a new look at Sucker Punch's super-powered sandbox game Infamous, a PS3 exclusive due this Spring. Above, you can hear producer Brian Fleming and director Nate Fox talk up their creation and show off some of the moves you'll be pulling off in the final game. After the break, take a gander at a bit of the introduction to the story and a peek at an early mission in the game.

While I'm sure that coming up with an open world, compelling plot, and electrical combat system must have been tough, I think the biggest challenge the game has is making a bike messenger seem likable. Besides that, the game should be quite a bit more than a Crackdown clone, as the platforming looks a lot closer to Assassin's Creed, or even Ratchet and Clank. I'm a little concerned that the "Good vs. Evil" choices you have to make throughout the game will be pretty token, and won't have much effect on the story, but considering I almost always play as the goodiest two shoes imaginable, I suppose it won't really make much difference to me one way or the other.
