Weekly XBLA Update - 12/10/08
Not one, but two new games hit XBLA this week. For puzzle playing people, METEOS WARS will have you seeing blocks in your dreams, which might be an improvement for some of you and your perverted subconscious. Also this week is PowerUp Forever, a shooter that promises endless replay. I wouldn't mind seeing a happy medium between a short game and a game that lasts forever, I can settle on a six year game. Sonic Unleashed graces the Xbox with a demo so you can test whether the blue boy should be allowed to once again break the speed of sound or go back to the petting zoo for a few more years. Rock Band takes us back to the 90's with a collection of songs from No Doubt, which means we can all live out our dreams of singing Don't Speak to that special someone who refuses to love us back. What?

I really don't see how fun Meteos could be without the touch interface. Playing a round using the d-pad on the DS is just frustrating.
also, don't forget the Street Fighter II: Uno Pack came out today, although, aside from the images and the sounds, i cannot figure out what is different about it. there is a Ryu Hadoken card, but for the life of me i don't know what it does.
