Weekly XBLA Update - 12/24/08

puzzlearcade.jpg

What day is it? Why it's Christmas Eve Day! I won't let the fact that I have to venture out into the snow for a half day of work at me lame day job ruin today. What I will do is look forward to coming home, sneaking past my relatives Solid Snake style and booting up my 360. This seems to be a puzzle week on console downloadables with PSN rolling out LUMINES and XBLA giving us Puzzle Arcade, a virtual jigsaw puzzle by the folks at Eidos. The best part is that with your Vision Camera, you can make your own puzzles. I will allow everyone's mind to go to that very bad place for just a moment.......... Time's up. Along with a new game, XBLA users will get to take a dip into Legendary with a playable demo. I know the game hasn't been getting the best reviews ever, but the premise of mythology meets modern day piques my interest levels. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a partridge in a pear tree I need to catch. Here I come 70's teen heartthrob David Cassidy!
