Boom Blox Sequel Coming This Spring

Last year's Boom Blox for the Wii was, in my opinion, easily one of the best games for the system. Sure, it wasn't quite what one would expect from Stephen Spielberg, but it was full of ingenious puzzles and fun, physics-based gameplay. It didn't sell quite as well as it should have, but luckily it sold well enough to justify EA making a sequel, and it sounds like it will be bigger and better in every way.
Boom Blox Bash Party as the sequel will be called, has all the standard expansions for a sequel. New blocks (like conveyor belts!), new tools, and new modes will all be included. As the title suggests Bash Party will put an emphasis on expanding the multiplayer mode, probably the best part of the original Boom Blox. There will also be environments like zero gravity and underwater that will add new physics to the game.
But the feature I'm looking most forward to is something borrowed from Little Big Planet, with Bash Party allowing you to download other players' custom levels. The original Boom Blox had a great level editor allowing for some classic and some very complex custom levels that I would love to get my hands on. EA has also said that it will be releasing its own DLC with new levels, so no matter what there will be a constant stream of new content for the game.
And the best part is we won't have to wait too long. Boom Blox Bash Party is scheduled to come out this spring, though no exact date has been set yet. I can't wait. Boom Blox is one of the most played games with my friends, coming right after Super Smash Bros Brawl and pretty much tied with Mario Kart Wii. It's an absolute blast, and if you missed the first one then I highly recommend checking out Boom Blox Bash Party later this spring.

I have only read reviews of this game, but from what I can tell, I am excited to see the next version come out. It looks really fun!
