Final Fantasy Advent Children And FF XIII Demo

The wait for Final Fantasy XIII in the west might be nigh-endless, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't celebrate Japan's good fortune. Gamers across the ocean will get a healthy dose of hands-on time with Square Enix's favorite moneymaker on April 16th, when a playable demo comes attached to the special edition Blu-ray release of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children for a mere 5,900 yen ($65). If you just want the movie, look to pay 4,900 yen ($54). Why would someone just want the movie and not the demo? Well, with a half hour of additional footage and a new animated short film, fans of the original film who don't have a PS3 might still want to invest in the disc.
I know their hasn't been word of a release outside of Japan, as a fan of Advent Children, I hope this hits our shores. Having a couple of hours with Final Fantasy XIII isn't too shabby, although I'd almost rather go into the game completely fresh. Eleven bucks for a demo might cause some to call foul, but remember that some downloadable games cost just as much and provide less than two hours of entertainment.
What are your thoughts? Love or loath Advent Children? Willing to pay for a demo? Square Enix have some secret deal to torture western gamers?
Final Fantasy VII Advent Children PS3 and Blu-Ray Details [1up]

How many copies of this movie does Square think they need to push out? I mean, we have the regular, the special edition, and now we might be getting two more via Blu-Ray?
Seriously...
Nah, I'll just watch footage of the demo from internet for free. ;P
I wouldn't get much joy for playing it myself, since I don't know Japanese and wouldn't understand anything of it anyway. So I'll just wait for someone to play it, make a video out of it and translate it.
I would gladly give up and limb and an internal ogran of their choosing to play this game....
I had to check your numbers. I can't believe the dollar is that far down the crapper right now. I've never seen 100 yen worth more than a dollar.
