Game Retailer Employees Get Scholarship

While the dismal news keeps getting dismaler (turns out that's a real word after all), here's a bright spot for a group that normally gets little love: game retailer employees.
The Entertainment Merchants Association (turns out that's a real group after all) has opened up its 2009 Entertainment Merchants Association scholarship, which awards collage scholarships to current college students and incoming freshman who work - or have a parent or spouse who works - at an EMA member company.
Bo Anderson, CEO of EMA:
The EMA Scholarship Foundation is more important than ever in these tough economic times. We are pleased to be able to assist the employees of EMA member companies and their immediate family members to be able to afford higher education.
So for all you GameStop managers and clerks who happen to be fighting your way through the education racket, please check out the application details!
