Favorite console/handheld: You just have to love the Wii... even though there are so few good games that really fully realize it's power and uniqueness. But I also definitely love playing the beautiful high-res games on my HDTV... so bright and luminous and detailed! I just hope Nintendo decides to go all HD with their next console.
Favorite game genre: Action RPGs is where it's at. Zelda is 78% heroin. There's something narcotic for me about lighting two torches to make a chest appear.
Games currently being played: I'm ODing on Picross DS right now. Every time I close my eyes I see a 20x25 grid and I'm filling in little squares...
Top 5 favorite series: In no particular order: Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Halo, Smash Bros. Runners up: Bioshock, Mass Effect, Picross, Pikmin and whatever game that lets me take a stroll through the Red Sox locker room after a game. What? That game doesn't exist? Well, somebody get on the phone with 2K Sports and tell them to make it a new feature!
