Nippon Ichi Says Yay UK: Disgaea 3 Hits The EU Next Month
I've been enjoying the stupendous Disgaea 3 for months now. Hate me all you want, I will not feel bad for living in a country that sees nearly every Nippon Ichi release. Ever. Seriously, those guys churn out a new strategy RPG every two weeks or so it seems. All you poor cats in Europe just seem to get the short end of the stick.
Well, fret no longer. You can quit biting your nails, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice has been officially announced for release in European territories February 20, 2009 for the PAL Playstation 3. Of course, hardcore fans probably just imported the US release, since there is no region lock on most Playstation 3 software. Just saying.

What? As far as I know, all the real Nippon Ichi-developed SRPG titles for the PS2 came over here, eventually. I have PAL versions of Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom and Soul Nomad. And, AFAIK, both Disgaea 2 and La Pucelle got a release over here. The PS1 game Rhapsody didn't find its way over here, though, but I bet the DS release will eventually.
But yeah, we do have to wait a bit too long and titles that aren't Nippon Ichi-developed rarely finds their way over here. Which kind of sucks. =/
