PlayStation Network Store Update - 01/22/09

No new games this week on the good old PSN, but that doesn't mean all you DLC lovers should go away empty handed. Celebrate America with the Buzz! American Culture Pack, which will either make you proud to know about this great country, or embarrassed that you kept falling asleep in history class. I'll be in the latter category. I picked up Skate 2 today and now I find I can unlock everything for under five bucks. I know there are people out there who love these sort of downloads, but I for one would like to actually feel a sense of accomplishment when I play a game... at least until I get bored or frustrated, then I'll drop five dollars without a second thought. For those of you with moths in your wallet, demos of WipEout and F.E.A.R. 2 should provide enough excitement until you can sell your kidney on the black market. I don't condone trading organs for money, but I promise not to judge you.

Where are the PS1 games?! I happily downloaded Suikoden, but I would love to have Silent Hill. Square needs to get stuff up too. Legend of Mana or Xenogears would totally make my day. The lack of PS1 games is causing me to look at custom firmware for my PSP so I can rip my PS1 games.
Yep. I really love skate 2. More than I loved skate 1, I think. What I'm trying to say is that instead of doing objectives, I caved and bought the pack since really, I just want to skate in the city and hang out with friends instead of doing all of missions. They aren't bad missions or anything, it's just that...after doing a bunch, I'm fine with not doing any more and not feeling like I'm missing anything vital to the story.
"Feed the Tree" is one of my favorite songs.
