Rumor: Lego Rock Band On The Way
According to an "anonymous source" Traveler's Tales are looking to follow-up last year's Lego Batman and Lego Indiana Jones with a new direction for the series - a Lego version of EA's Rock Band.
Maybe it will be the Kidz Bop version of the game, letting moms who are scared of the devil's music buy something with a friendly, familiar look for their children. Or perhaps it will be some kind of musical platformer you can use a guitar controller to play. I think either of those could work out well, and be more than just milking a cash cow. Otherwise I just don't see the point in combining a series people seem to be getting a little tired of (Lego) with a game that pretty much does everything it needs to do out of the box (Rock Band).
So we'll have see how this pans out. Earlier rumors pegged the next Lego game as something in the Harry Potter universe, but perhaps the delay of the movie (and game adaptation) until this summer put those on the back burner.

I'd like a Lego game where you actually get to design vehicles and ride/drive/fly them around. Like, a Lego version of Second Life that doesn't suck would be amazing.
