Video: FFCC: The Crystal Bearers Japanese Gameplay
Above we've got a look at the latest video from the Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles spin-off, FFCC: The Crystal Bearers, one of two Crystal Chronicles titles coming to the Wii. This is the one that doesn't look like a DS game, although you can't really say graphics are its strong suit either. Nevertheless, the title does have a certain charisma: it looks to be an action RPG, with a few other elements thrown in. More than that, the protagonist sure looks like he's having a good time, which is always fun to watch. Sadly the cooperative elements have either been taken out entirely or take a back seat to the single player experience: hopefully the game can deliver on that end.
Caution: the music at the beginning is awful, and I hope isn't actually what you will hear during battles. It gets better after the first minute or so. Release dates for the title are forthcoming, although it looks like it will probably make it this year, at least in Japan.

Ugh, that music is awful. Despite that, I'm happy just to be getting an FF for the Wii
What....?? what's with the music lol I'm crazy excited about this title but umm why does the game trailer have horrible western music in the beginning with dogs barking in the beginning lol
Looks fun and ultra-cute. I'm also getting a sinking Shrek-in-Ivalice-with-Dawn-of-Mana-gameplay feeling, though.
Looks better than all the shoddy CC games so far!
Finally an actual-like FF title on the Wii.
Seems like this one is not one of those rather... "well" other "CC"-titles. However, I hope it is not gonna be another physics demo, just like Dawn of Mana
The song of the beginning is great. The problem is that it does not fit with the video. But the song ifself is nice.
This is definitely one that I'll have to wait and see how it is before making a decision to play or not. Can't say I'm terribly impressed by what the trailer shows.
