I would attempt to write something pithy and hilarious here, but I feel that this moment deserves all our respect and attention. As we speak, the world changes forever as we swear in the first African American president in American history. He has a long hard road ahead of him and we here at GayGamer wish him all the best. Good luck President Obama, and godspeed.

Nothing changes. Prop. 8 with the support of votes from 70% of Black Californians proves that we have not learned anything about prejudice; we have only changed our prejudices.
i wish people would get over the whole "black vote" angle. it's a myth propagated by the right-wing media. the black vote was large, but it was the older vote (especially the white older vote) that ultimately passed prop 8. the whole black vote angle totally ignores that it's possible to be black AND gay at the same time. once the older, phobic generation goes into history, change will happen on this.
Mabey its possible to be old and gay as well. And white too.
I can't wait to wake up tomorrow to find it a sunny 70 degrees in Michigan, the economy will be back to its old self, War will cease to exist, and money will pour from my mail box!
Sure I wish him the best of luck, but only because I would hope every president does a good job.
