When Keeping It Loud Goes Wrong
You think your neighbors banging that broomstick is bad when you are playing Rock Band with a little too much enthusiasm is bad? Well then try living in Denmark. Apparently a 21 year-old and his friend in Copenhagen were playing a PS3 game on a pretty nice sound system loud enough that a neighbor could hear it quite well. The undisclosed game apparently had some gun violence in it, and the sound level at which the game was being playing apparently made the unknowing neighbor call in a report of guns being used next door.
A SWAT team was brought in and called the guys out of the apartment on a megaphone. The SWAT team arrested the two men on suspicion of mayhem and/or gun possession, but the men were released when the search of the apartment turned up no firearms. I'm sure the all parties involved felt like they had a bit of egg on their face afterward, but it just goes to show that you never know who is listening to you when you game. I just hope my neighbors don't hear how I talk to my neighbors in Animal Crossing or else they might call animal control on me. The lesson is, be like Mister Rogers and try to be considerate of your neighbors.
