Facebook Rots Yer Brains!

Like Alec Baldwin in that neato Hulu commercial, neuroscientist Susan Greenfield is claiming that sites like Facebook and Twitter can cause changes in the brains of young internet surfers: shortened attention spans, the encouragement of instant gratification, and increased self-centeredness are the effects that millions of young people are receiving from keeping track of their friends online.
I forgot where I was going with this, but how do you like my dress? I need to know now!
See? It's totally true.
Lady Greenfield (she's a lady! What does she think of my dress?) had the following words for the UK's House of Lords:
'My fear is that these technologies are infantilising the brain into the state of small children who are attracted by buzzing noises and bright lights, who have a small attention span and who live for the moment.'
Anyway, I forgot where I was going with this, but how do you like my dress? I need to know Now!!!
Greenfield and her cohorts go on to remind us that children shouldn't play games before the age of seven and make sure that "before they start social networking, they need to learn to make real relationships with people." But man, if your 18 month-old starts Facebooking before he learns to hug, you got bigger problems than the internet.

DTMtBD reference FTW!
Yeah, that's great, super.
HEY TINY WHERE IS THE PODCAST?
"infantilising the brain into the state of small children"
Isn't that like saying "Shrinkage is making things small" .... theres no need to state the same thing twice.
Stating something twice would be stating it once more than once.
