BlizzCon 2009 Announced
Looks like the folks over at Blizzard are making sure that their fans shell out more money get yet another dose of BlizzCon love this year already. Today the company has announced that they will be having a BlizzCon, their 4th one, on August 21st and 22nd in their venue of choice, the Anaheim Convention Center in sunny California. As has been the case with previous BlizzCons, this one is sure to have auctions, contests (some of the Cosplay variety), WoW Panels, upcoming game sneak peaks, and plenty of kiosks to try out their upcoming (Diablo 3 and Starcraft II) and current gaming library. As also seems to be the tradition, there is sure to be a swag bag full of exclusive goodies for the attendees that do go.
Blizzcon is also the normal venue for Blizzard to announce more details on upcoming games and/or expansions. Who knows, maybe release dates for the Diablo and Starcraft games will be announced. Or might they possibly reveal what the other unnamed MMO is that they are working on? I guess we'll just have to wait until August to see. No mention yet of when tickets for the event will go on sale, but if it is anything like previous years I'm sure it'll sell out frustratingly quick. We'll be sure to give you a heads up for when there is word on when you can have a chance to get a golden ticket.
