Concept Art Provides Details For Lionhead's Next Cancelled Games

[Update: Turns out these were old game concepts that never saw the light of day. Oh well. I guess Peter Molyneux cancels more good ideas than most people have in a lifetime. Text has been updated below to reflect this.]
In their online portfolio, Leading Light Design has galleries with concept art for a pair of unannounced (and now dead) Lionhead projects, Survivors and Justice. Although no real details are given about either game, you can learn quite a bit leafing through the pictures.
Survivors has a gallery of over 50 images, and Jeff Probst isn't in any of them. It appeared to be either further along or just more ambitious than Justice. The scenes begin with the destruction of the world as we know it: meteorites, tornados, earthquakes, all that fun stuff. There are a few characters shown in different states of dress, and they seem to age in the artwork. There are new settlements made from the rubble of civilization, as in Fallout 3, and there's definitely a progression in the shots as nature appears to take over the wreckage in some of the paintings. Some kind of co-op survival RPG, perhaps?
Justice seems to be more straight forward. Scenes of disaster, court, prison, and someone on the lam. Maybe a penal system sandbox game? Since this is Peter Molyneux's Lionhead, I think we can expect that for both games, the developers' eyes were be a big bigger than their stomachs, ambition-wise. Whether any of these ideas will make it into the next game from the Fable 2 developers is unknown. Hopefully they'll keep the queer inclusive gameplay, but maybe they could tone down the farting just a tad.

Oooh, how interesting!
Uh oh, sad. Kotaku just posted this:
"Seems our sceptcism was well-founded. Lionhead have said of the projects "These are old projects that we're no longer working on"."
Thanks, Underapurplesky, story's been updated to note that info.
