Dressing Up In 8-Bit Style

Call me a sucker for the Hallmark holidays, but with Valentine's approaching, I can't help but see certain news items as possibilities for our readers to get a special gift for a special someone in their life (even if that someone is his or herself). The latest item I've seen that had me thinking Valentine's Day are these four wonderful 8-bit ties available on Amazon.com for the price of $24.95. Now if the polls in the forums have taught me anything a number of you like to see a woman or man in a business outfit, and what better way to kick it up a notch in nerdiness if the outfit includes a retro-gaming tie.
As you can see, there is a tie for Space Invaders, Asteroids, Tetris, and Pong, each printed on black Microfiber, which is always luxurious to the touch. I also hear that the fabric will rarely lead to chaffing or bruises if the ties are ever used for purposes other than accessorizing one's neck. None of the ties themselves are really power ties, since most are just black and white, which is great for not drawing too much attention but still allowing your geekdom to be seen. So hop on over to Amazon and let the geek in your life know that you want to have him all tie'd up for Valentine's Day.
