Ecolis 2 Announced: No US Publishers Up To Bat
I'm a bit of a begrudging fan of the original Ecolis (Eco-Creatures). Don't ask me why, I found the game quite fun, even if it was a pretty mediocre strategy game. I think it has something to do with commanding a small army of squirrels to bring down the establishment. Seriously, who thinks up a story like that and isn't living in a box in a park somewhere?
Apparently, the story wasn't so far off, because Ecolis 2: The Moving Island and Blue Sea has officially been announced in Japan. This time, he's bringing fish. I'm sure the squirrels are still there too. Yes, I realize how silly that sounds and I don't care.
This time around the game is being developed for GungHo Works, the developer of Maple Story DS. This could indicate bad news for people like me hoping for a US release, as no GungHo Works title has ever been released in the United States. Fingers crossed people.

ME WANT. Similar complaints, but I really thought the game needed more diverse units. Looks like this game lets you use Fish Spirits and Robots as part of your team.
