Next Fallout 3 DLC Delayed

Now that we've gotten our grubby little paws on the first piece of Fallout 3 downloadable content, some bad news on the next two. 'The Pitt' has been moved to a March release, and moves then story to a Raider town in the remains of Pittsburgh, PA. 'Broken Steel' has been pushed to April, and will involve the Brotherhood of Steel and the Enclave. Unfortunate, but at least we know it's coming, and that it will be that much better when we finally get it. I guess I can keep hunting down Nuka-Cola Quantum in the meantime...
As with 'Operation Anchorage', this content will be available on PC and Xbox 360 only.

Why isn't Sony getting the DLC on the PS3?
Because Sony did not pay millions of dollars to get the content as an exclusive like microsoft did. And don't fret, the content so far has been terribly average when compared the otherwise excellent Fallout 3.
And it will end up on a bonus disc or something in a year. It WILL come to PS3, it's just a matter of WHEN.
Just like the Oblivion content... oh wait.
I love the way Microsoft are sooooo petrified that Sony might one up them that they just have to throw money at everything, shows just how much faith they have in their own product
Microsoft money: A lot of $$
Faith in own product: ZERO!
I agree wholeheartedly with the Microsoft comments - they clearly have diddly confidence in the ability of the 360 to stand on it's own so chuck massive wads of cash at it, it's a very cynical approach which, imo, undermines both the 360 and their confidence in their customer base.
What does frustrate me is that PS3 owners, upon the release of the third DLC pack, will have a far more limited game - the first two DLC packs simply add little bits of extra stuff, the third will completely reopen the game world after the story conclusion, which would make racking up those final few trophies a lot less arduous.
Presumably MS paid large cash to host the exclusive content, which will prevent it from ever being sold in stores. For my money, BethSoft has just killed a promising product. The level of backlash against this blatant power-move by Microsoft to force-feed GFWL balderdash to people who are already fed up with having to run a Steam client is already massing. I can only guess that the designers at Beth figure the content will end up being passed around on thumb drive between friends and aren't concerned that much with the actual sale of the product. Since I have absolutely no intention of ever installing GFWL on my machine - not ever - nor do I pirate games I haven't purchased, then I guess I won't be experiencing Fallout 3 anymore.
It's sad that something so simple can be turned into such a morass of imbecility simply by making a business deal with Microsoft. As a person who owes his living to their corporate incompetence in quality control I can say only that when you lay down with dogs, Bethesda, you get fleas.
