The Resident Evil 5 Xbox 360 Bundle "Officially" Announced
With the nosy internet hounds running rampant, it doesn't take long for "rumors" to circulate, often times rendering announcements of new products useless. We'd heard about the potential for a Resident Evil 5 special edition 360 but now Major Nelson has officially announced that it's for real! The red 360 will come with a matching red wireless controller, a copy of the game (natch) and other features including:
- 120GB hard drive
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
- Exclusive Resident Evil Premium Theme
- Xbox 360 black wired headset
- HDTV-ready component HD AV, HDMI and Ethernet cables
The whole schlemiel will retail for $399. Sounds like a pretty nice bundle and I love the red 360. Unfortunately for me, my 360 sits on a shelf where you can't even see the colors of it anyway, especially with my BioShock faceplate firmly in place. Still, I am really looking forward to the game. March 13 can't get here soon enough...

It always seems that I miss out on something cool like this because I already have it.... :( Although, hearing that you have a Bioshock faceplate makes me even more jealous... :P

The red controller has been on sale for a while now. It's not tied in to this limited edition at all.
