Video: Apple Rejects Obama Trampoline iPhone Game
Apple displayed a lack of humor recently when it nixed Swamiware's latest iPhone game, Obama Trampoline, which lets users select one of a number of US politicians and... have them jump on a trampoline.
No word on Apple's phobia on trampolines, but other political/satire-based iPhone apps have gotten similar rejections, including a throw-the-shoe at Bush game, so it looks improbably that Obama's getting special treatment. More likely the reason goes something like this:
"Applications must not contain any obscene, pornographic, offensive or defamatory content or materials of any kind (text, graphics, images, photographs, etc.), or other content or materials that in Apple's reasonable judgement may be found objectionable by iPhone or iPod touch users."
I guess you've got to draw the line somewhere, but are trampolines offensive in some special way?
