Video: Broken Pixels - Wirehead

Even if Mr. SDF himself is no longer at 1up, Shane Bettenhausen's sharp wit lives on at his former home with some previously recorded hilarity through the second season of Broken Pixels. The MST3K-meets-Gaming feature usually does a great job of finding the worst of the worst, but this time they may have outdone themselves. Their target this time is a little known Sega CD title known as Wirehead. Don't worry, no one else had heard of it before either.

The Choose Your Own Adventure-styled gameplay easily represents some of the laziest designs the mid 90's had to offer, but presented player with the most ridiculous scenarios possible that include, but not limited to: obnoxious children, a lengthy skateboarding sequence, awkward flirting, unorthodox parachutes, "cowboys," and a real live bear! It's amazing that a game this terrible received enough of a budget to get even half of these things into the final game. It may be an awful game to play, but Wirehead might be the most entertaining spectacle to watch others suffer with.
